The home owner's requests for this sloped back yard included privacy from the uphill neighbor, more usable space for their toddler and entertaining, and the need to deal with the existing drainage issue.

Terraced planters mixed with wider, deep steps constructed with all natural stone was designed to create an amazing living space.
Using a decorative segmental wall product, we designed contours and terraces to create a flat, usable lawn area, an elevated flagstone patio, and a conveniently located elevated vegetable garden. The privacy issue was solved by using site specific plant material, and a cedar arbor, blocking neighboring windows while allowing sun to touch the garden, lawn, and patio areas.
